Altador Cup History
In the past couple of years, a lot has happened in the widely popular tournament known as the Altador Cup. All the regions across Neopia are represented by their respective team as they are pitted against each other in a fast-paced, adrenaline pumping sport called Yooyuball (as well as several slightly less fast-paced and adrenaline pumping side games).
Altador Cup I Final Standings
The first Altador Cup was really exciting for everybody who took part in it. It was won by Haunted Woods, after 4 eliminations rounds. Darigan Citadel came up second and Krawk Island won third place.

Altador Cup II Final Standings
The second Altador Cup was just as exciting as the first one. This time, 2 new mini-games were added and you could play them to earn more points for your team. After a double round-robin, the 4 best teams of Neopia made it to the finals. Darigan Citadel played against Roo Island for the first and second place while Shenkuu and Krawk Island tried to win the third place. The winners were Darigan Citadel (first place), Roo Island (second place) and Shenkuu (third place).

What to say about the third Altador Cup? Teams fought very hard and gave all they could at Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. After a double round-robin, teams were splitted into 4 groups of 4 teams each. They all battled for their final position and the match most people was waiting for, between Krawk Island and Roo Island was won by the latter.

Altador Cup IV Final Standings
What to say about the fourth Altador Cup? Teams once again gave it their all, as TNT added a NC Challenge based around a new game called Shootout Showdown. After another double round-robin, teams were split into 4 groups of 4 teams each. They all battled for their final position and the match most people was waiting for, between Krawk Island and Shenkuu was won by the pirates, taking the cup from the ninjas.

Altador Cup V Final Standings
With the addition of the Moltaran Magmas to the mix, the fifth Altador Cup became the first cup in history to be played with a full complement of 18 teams. The same double round-robin and four-team tier structure was used once again, with the addition of a fifth tier containing the bottom two teams. The result: one of the fiercest Altador Cup tournaments in history, which makes Team Terror Mountain's achievement of a near-perfect Shootout Showdown streak all the more remarkable. Team Kreludor and Team Lost Desert, both well-established powerhouses by now, battled it out in the finals, with the Lost Desert Mummies emerging victorious to claim the championship.

Altador Cup VI Final Standings
This year marked the second tournament of the 18 Team Model. The success of the Virtupets team was the big story this year. In just 4 short years, they rose from the bottom of the standings to the ultimate winners in Y13. Kreludor retained their second place finish from ACV and Meridell rose five spots from their 8th place finish last year to round off the Top 3 in ACVI.
