The Daily NeopetsNeopets Articles › Fruit Machine

Introduction

The Fruit Machine (external link) is one of the most popular Lost Desert attractions when searching for a little quick cash. Being a game of chance, the Fruit Machine is about luck, and whether or not you have any. Everyone tries for a great prize every day nonetheless and though landing a winning spin can be rare, the prize possibilities are endless.

The best part of the Fruit Machine? It is absolutely free. The only hindrance being a one spin per day limit. You are also not allowed to spin on side accounts, that would be cheating... which is bad. :)

The Basics

Taking a spin is easy, you click and win or lose. So easy a caveman could do it! (I couldn't resist). After that it's all about luck, so grab a rabbit's foot, a four leaf clover, and go stand under a rainbow to make sure you get something good from the Fruit Machine, or else you will get hit with this message.

Sorry

There aren't any ways to cheat, trick, or fool the Fruit Machine so don't hope you can use some strange cheats to get a prize. It is all about chance, and is entirely random.

The fruits that appear on the fruit machine are: Bagguss, Tchea Fruit, Ummagine, Cheops Plant, Ptolymelon, and Puntec Fruit. The fruit here are presented in order of progressing prize values. You would get the smallest prize from the Baggus, and the largest from the Puntec Fruit.

The Fruit Machine is presented with three neopets holding up cards, the cards will display different fruit. If the fruit on the cards match you win a prize. If not, well there is always tomorrow.

The Prizes

Ooh, ahh! Yes we all love prizes and the exciting thing about the Fruit Machine is the chances of getting prizes. You can win two different ways; by matching the first two cards, or by matching all three.
Matching only the first two gets a smaller prize, matching all three gets a grand prize. Prizes get better depending on what fruit are on the cards, so hope for a Puntec Fruit, grab those lucky charms, and get spinning!
