Job Description

The Daily Neopets is seeking well-qualified Neopets battlers that can post weapon reviews on our Battlepedia. You will be mainly reviewing weapons, so you need to have a good knowledge of icons, fractionals, economy, and the like. You will also need to be familiar with popular choices of Neopets weapons to provide "Upgrades, Downgrades, or Alternatives" in your reviews. You'll also use our Admin Panel to add weapons and update them. Your battle pet should have a MINIMUM of at least HP + STR + DEF = 150.

Job Tasks

  • Log on to The Daily Neopets frequently.

  • Check the Staff Chat (and get some free donuts!).

  • Write reviews for weapons on the Battlepedia.

  • Test weapons.

  • Add weapons to the database.

  • Update bug reports for weapons per visitor tickets and inquiries.

Guidelines for Applying

The people we're looking for must meet the following qualifications. If you do not, please do not apply as you will not be accepted.

  • You must be at least 13 years of age. No exceptions. If you are not, please do not apply because we need staff members who have access to every portion of Neopets. If you aren't 13 years of age and have an account with 13-year-old privileges, you shouldn't have them. ;)

  • Speaking of age, we really prefer applicants be at least 16 years old.

  • You must have MSN/Windows Live messenger. All of our current staff members use this to communicate.

  • We welcome people from all around the world to apply. However, you need to have a firm grasp of English because The Daily Neopets is an English web site.

  • Applicants must not be staff at any other Neopets help site.

  • Please put effort and some "spark" in your application. We view grammar and spelling errors in applications as careless. Please, by all means, impress us and bust out the amazingness!

  • Virtually all of our positions require an average to expert understanding of HTML.

  • All TDN positions are volunteer positions. TDN is a Neopets fan site by Neopets fans for Neopets fans.

  • Please plan on doing this job for some time. We are not looking for people who will stick around for a month, then disappear. Please only apply if you know you'll enjoy it and have fun.
