Introduction

Masks of Dread is the title for the 2011 Halloween Quests Event. Users can pick one of five masks daily, getting the chosen mask as a wearable item in addition to the given prizes. The Quests began on October 25th.

Getting Started

Before starting the quests, we advise you to select an active pet that pet is able to wear clothing or you will go to a blank page after choosing your mask. This will not prevent you from participating, but can cause confusion. After that, you may decide which mask you want to wear first. There are five to choose from: Fairest of Feathers Mask, Mystical Geraptiku Mask, Solar Flare Mask, Steam Respiration Mask and Evil Coconut Mask. The masks go to your closet and are yours to keep.

Bonus Prize

If you complete each quest on the day it's released then there is a special bonus prize at the end of the event! So make sure you complete them ASAP.

The Quests

Saskia needs your help to test out her mysterious masks. Travel around Neopia, while wearing the mask of course, and completing the tasks she requests.

Omelette Quest

1. Visit Sasika's Stand and pick your mask.
2. Visit Tyrannian Petpets .
3. Visit the Giant Omelette .
4. Return to Sasika's Stand and claim your prizes.

Jazan Quest

1. Visit Sasika's Stand and pick your mask. There will be four remaining if you completed the previous quest.
2. Visit Desert Arms .
3. Visit Qasalan Delights .
4. Find Jazan at Sutek's Scrolls .
5. Return to Sasika's Stand and claim your prizes.

Igneot Quest

1. Visit Sasika's Stand and pick your mask. There will be three remaining if you completed the previous quest.
2. Visit the Magma Pool .
3. Visit Igneot's Cavern .
4. Ask Igneot a random question.
5. Return to Sasika's Stand and claim your prizes.

Dr. Sloth Quest

1. Visit Sasika's Stand and pick your mask. There will be two remaining if you completed the previous quest.
2. Visit the Dr. Frank Sloth Neopedia Page .
3. Visit Grundo's Cafe .
4. Return to Sasika's Stand and claim your prizes.

TDMBGPOP Quest

1. Visit Sasika's Stand and pick the last remaining mask.
2. Visit the Faerieland Bookshop .
3. Visit the Faerie Caverns .
4. Visit The Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity .
5. Return to Sasika's Stand and claim your prizes.

Paint Devil Quest

1. Visit Sasika's Stand and pick up the last mask.
2. Visit the Deserted Fairground Scratchcards .
3. Visit King Skarl's Neopedia Page .
4. Visit The Snowager .
5. Then visit the Governor's Mansion .
6. Finally, go to Bonju's Cooking Pot .
7. Return to Sasika's Stand and claim your prizes.

A Note on the Trick-or-Treat Bags: The backgrounds listed above are some of many prizes that may come from opening your trick-or-treat bags! There is no guarantee that you will get any of them. Other prizes include an assortment of Halloween/spooky themed food, books, furniture, and random items.

Masks of Dread NC Quest Pack

For 500NC, you can purchase a quest pack in the NC Mall. As usual, you need to activate it through your inventory. Users who decide to buy this pack will receive one additional NC item for each quest they complete. In addition, users will receive a Trick or Treat Satchel when they activate their Masks of Dread NC Quest Pack.
