How to obtain
|Difficulty Meter||Neopoint Ratio|
We rate this game somewhat hard.
NP Ratio: 2.00
2000 pts :: 1000 NP
Step 1: Load Hannah and the Pirate Caves. Click to play and let the game load.
Step 2: WHILE HatPC is still open, bring up Dice Escape. Remember to keep the Hannah game up while you're doing this.
Step 3: Click to play Dice Escape. (Hannah is still open)
Here's where you have to play around with it a bit. I've had Dice Escape load the first time using this method. Other times, the error message pops up. If it does, click ok then reload the Dice Escape pop-up play screen. RELOAD. DO NOT EXIT AND CLICK TO PLAY AGAIN. Repeat until the game loads. The most tries it took me was 4 the first time. Other times, it has worked the first try, or second try, but it can also take a few more tries. I'd say give it 10 tries, a few more if you're patient enough. From the people who have tried it in Chrome, we have been able to access the game. (Remember to have your shockwave player up to date as well).
Once the Dice Escape game has loaded, you can then close Hannah, but will have to re-open her if you wish to re-load the Dice Escape play screen. Hasn't been tested with other shockwave games, only Hannah and only in Chrome. If you find other combinations or browsers that work, please send in a ticket and let us know.
Another possible workaround is to load Dice Escape as usual. When the play screen pops up, copy the address from the popup into the "Click to Play" launch window. Submit the address and refresh until the game loads without an error. This has been reported as successful in a few cases.
How It Works
You control the die with the arrow keys. The topmost face of the dice must match the exit tile in order to finish the level. Every move that you take will make your bonus smaller, so try to complete the levels as quickly as possible. There are coins you can pick up that will increase your score, but the extra time and maneuvering required to pick them up means they're often not worth it. You will lose a life if time runs out, and you only get three lives.
To help you, we've provided you with level-by level solutions. Note that these do not include picking up the coins, so they won't give you the MOST possible points per level. Our solution guide uses the following code:
HU= Hold Up till the die can't move
HD= Hold Down till the die can't move
HL= Hold Left till the die can't move
HR= Hold Right till the die can't move
2. UR or UURRDL (if you want the coin)
4. HL HU HL
6. LLLLLULDUDRRUURRRUR HU L
8. DRRDDLL HD
9. LLULULUL HU
10. URRRDDR HD HR
13. ULLUULUU HR D
14. (you should have the avatar by now! 1000+) UULUUDDD HL DRRRUUUURRRUULLDLLLUL
16. LLLLUULL HU HR
18. RLUU HL RDLL
19. HR ULLUDRDLUULLLUUULU
23. RUUL HU
If you need more time on a level, type helpmeplease or moretimeruki to reset the game timer to 60 seconds. You may use both in a game, but each one can only be used once per game.
To view the game from the top instead of at an angle, type topdown. Type it again to restore the view to normal :)
