The Daily Neopets › Neopets Game Guides › Key Quest BoardsThere are three identical boards in regular Key Quest: Neopia Central, Haunted Woods, and Terror Mountain. The only differences in these are the scenery and the starting homes. The newer boards, Springtime, Chocolate and Ti-Key, have all new board layouts.
To play the chocolate board, you must start a three or four player game on the Neopia Central Board. This will give you a 50% chance of triggering the Chocolate Board. This board has a completely different, more interesting layout than the other boards. Be sure to check it out!
There are several possible routes to take on a game board. For the best chance of winning, you should know the board and have a planned route rather than just going for the nearest key you see. Of course, your stroll along the best route will most likely be interrupted by other players' power-ups and the like, but it's always better to know which keys are nearby and which are out of your way. More players means more power-ups so expect many detours in a three or four player game. The Key Quest boards are listed below.
